As a business, Percy Doughty is taking the spread of Corona-virus (Covid-19) extremely seriously. Our priority remains the safety and well-being of our employees, suppliers and customers. Following recent communication on the evening of the 4th January 2021 regarding current restrictions we wanted to reassure you that in line with Governments advice as a manufacturer and supplier to the heating industry, we will remain open for business during this new lock down.We are continuing to take measures to operate in accordance with Government advice to be able to support all our valued customers during this important time for our industry.
In this quickly changing situation we are doing everything we can to ensure we are keeping everyone as safe as possible and will keep you updated as and when the situation changes.
Our Trade Counters at both Farnworth and Scotland will remain open for collections. Where possible we are asking customers to order ahead of visiting so that waiting times can be reduced. We are permitting one customer at a time and we are requesting customers to load their own vehicles wherever possible. As per the guidelines customers MUST wear face coverings when onsite.
We have been working meticulously to safeguard our employees. We have already implemented several actions in line with government guidelines, especially on social distancing.
Suppliers are instructed to cease visits to our premises and non-essential meetings with any employees until further notice. Business matters are to be maintained via telephone, email or online.
A mandatory glove & mask policy will be in place and are to be worn at all times when loading and unloading from delivery vehicles. It is important that anyone delivering goods to any location, must wear gloves/masks and stay at the recommended distance
Where possible all deliveries must be booked in via our goods in department prior to arrival on 01204 868 550
